  4.         Hypertext users should be able to find and read only what is
  5.         important to them (and easily skip what is not important to them).
  6.         For that reason, one important characteristic of any hypertext
  7.         system is many small units of text each organized around a
  8.         single idea.
  9.  
  10. Finding       Idea units tend to be one to several paragraphs in length.
  11. existing      If you paraphrase the contents of each paragraph, the
  12. ideas         idea boundaries occur when the paraphrase changes.

  14. Creating      In creating original hypertext screens, I like to:
  15. new
  16. ideas             -  limit size to one screen or 22 lines of text
  17.                   -  use a TITLE, DESCRIPTION, INDENT LIST, SUMMARY format
  18.                   -  Avoid dense text by using 2 sentence paragraphs
  19.                   -  Leave ample left and bottom margin
  20.                   -  Add an author link and a max of 3 relationship links

  22.         Summary:  One idea per screen makes excellent hypertext
